lyrics

It was February 2nd 1943
The escape seemed to be affective
The grasslands of the island nation of Polynesia offered cover from the enemies that slaughtered my people
I was on the lamb the republican guard seemed to be a distant memory
I had made it to day 47 when I happen to stumble upon a remote village that seemed unaffected
Settling into a routine all the horrors inflicted by the guard seemed to be a thing of the past
soon enough our safety was compromised and we were forced to fight for our lives
on that fateful day in 1943....

In the village I found
they protect me with sounds
ear drums point and shoot
at those who intrude

I am a dissected insect
a bleeding vesseled ship
I am sick and shipwrecked
my insides are so stripped

In the village I found
they protect me with sounds
ear drums point and shoot
at those who intrude

In the distance I hear a sound
they're approaching making ground

Fire cannon fire eardrums
Fire cannon fire eardrums
Fire cannon fire ear DRUM

What do you want from me
What do you want from us

about

The Live Amps Toronto, Ontario

A raw, unbridled flurry of guitar riffs and growly, emotive vocals, The Live Amps deliver urgent and messy prog rock laced with post-punk undertones, influenced by the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, and The Stooges.
